20. Captain PETER MACDONALD

asked the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs whether he is yet in a position to state the outcome of the conversations with the Dominion representatives on the subject of importations of meat into this country?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for DOMINION AFFAIRS (Lord Stanley)

I have not at present anything to add to the information which my right hon. Friend gave to the House on 20th June.

Captain MACDONALD

Can my Noble Friend state approximately the date when he will be able to make a statement?

Lord STANLEY

It is impossible to give an approximate date. I can assure my hon. and gallant Friend that as soon as the information is available it will be communicated to the House.
