§ Mr. TINKERIs the hon. Gentleman aware of the difficulty on the question of the ownership of the land on which these slag heaps are? Would he get into touch with the authorities, to make some provision about taking over the land at a nominal price—it is of no value at all—so that it will pass into the hands of the authorities?
§ Mr. SHAKESPEAREAll we can do is to say that if we receive applications for schemes we will consider the schemes on their merits.
