asked the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs whether any conclusions have been reached regarding the restrictions of overseas meat imports?

The SECRETARY of STATE for DOMINION AFFAIRS (Mr. J. H. Thomas)

I am not able to add anything to the answer on this subject which I gave the hon. Member for Colchester (Mr. Oswald Lewis) yesterday.

Mr. WILLIAMS

Can the right hon. Gentleman give a date when it will be possible to make a statement?

Mr. THOMAS

I will endeavour to explain the situation up to date on Thursday.
