HC Deb 17 June 1935 vol 303 c15
46. Lieut.-Colonel MOORE

asked the Prime Minister whether he is yet in a position to state what action, if any, the Government proposes to take with regard to the proposals for increased expenditure on public works by the right hon. Member for Carnarvon Boroughs (Mr. Lloyd George)?

The PRIME MINISTER (Mr. Baldwin)

No, Sir. I am not yet in a position to make a statement.

Mr. THORNE

Why not?

Captain Sir WILLIAM BRASS

When my right hon. Friend does make a statement, will there be an opportunity of discussing it in the House?

The PRIME MINISTER

I think the time has hardly come yet to give a definite reply to that question.
