HC Deb 17 June 1935 vol 303 c21
43. Mr. OSWALD LEWIS

asked the Financial Secretary to the War Office how soon the Army Council are likely to come to a decision on the recommendations of the committee appointed to examine the promotion situation in the Army Education Corps?

The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the WAR OFFICE (Mr. Douglas Hacking)

This question has proved rather more difficult than was expected and, in consequence, it may be some time before a decision is taken.

Mr. LEWIS

Can the right hon. Gentleman give us some idea what he means by "some time"?

Mr. HACKING

It may be a month or so.
