HC Deb 05 June 1935 vol 302 c1851
25. Mr. JOHN RUTHERFORD

asked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware of the congestion of traffic which is likely to result from the erection of a Crown post office opposite the Edmonton Town Hall at a junction of five roads, three of which are main roads with tramway lines, including a tramway terminus; and whether he will make representations to the Postmaster-General?

Mr. HORE-BELISHA

In order to obviate the contingencies referred to by my hon. Friend, a yard for loading and unloading purposes is being provided at the rear of the office to which access will be obtained from a side street.
