§ 61. Mr. STOREYasked the Postmaster-General on what grounds his Department requires payment for Division bells in hon. Members' houses for 12 months in advance?
§ Sir E. BENNETTThe payments in question are small, and I gather that hon. Members generally prefer not to be troubled with the account more than once a year. If, however, any hon. Member would like his account rendered quarterly, I shall be happy to arrange for this to be done.
§ Mr. STOREYAre we to infer from the fact that the Post Office is now sending out accounts for the ensuing 12 months that the Postmaster-General does not anticipate a general election during that period?
§ Sir E. BENNETTThis scarcely arises out of the question on the Paper.
