HC Deb 04 June 1935 vol 302 cc1694-5
36. Mr. HUTCHISON

asked the Home Secretary whether he will consider including in the Government programme next session a Redistribution Bill, either for the whole country or at least for those districts whose population, owing to rehousing, has increased exceptionally?

Sir J. GILMOUR

No, Sir.

Mr. HUTCHISON

Is my right hon. Friend aware of the rate at which some of these constituencies are growing? Does he realise that in my division the electorate is now 164,000 and that on the next register it will probably be 180,000?
