asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the number of teachers for whom interchange arrangements with the Dominions and foreign countries have been made during the last year, and with what countries?

During the last year 75 Scottish teachers and student-teachers have taken advantage of the arrangements referred to. Of these, 17 teachers went to Canada, one each to Australia, South Africa and Southern Rhodesia, two to the United States of America; and 52 Scottish student-teachers went to France and one to Germany.
