Mrs. WARDasked the Minister of Health whether his attention has been drawn to the report of the medical officer of health for the Cannock urban area regarding the unsatisfactory accommodation provided for the welfare centres in the area; and whether he can state what steps are being taken to provide better accommodation?
§ Sir K. WOODI have seen the reference to this matter in the report for 1934, from which I gather that the Council are seeking sites for the erection of 1991 new centres but have so far failed to secure suitable sites. I will ascertain from the Council the present position and inform my hon. Friend of the result.
