HC Deb 25 July 1935 vol 304 c1990
15. Mr. CHORLTON

asked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that, as a first step towards the establishment of a water grid for the north of the Isle of Man, a water board has been constituted and financial assistance will be granted by the Manx Government; and whether he will arrange to send one of his officials to the Isle of Man in order to learn how these modern methods are devised and carried through?

Sir K. WOOD

I do not think this necessary. My hon. Friend will appreciate that there are many Water Boards and authorities with more extensive limits than that referred to in the question.

Mr. CHORLTON

Is not this a very suitable time of the year for my right hon. Friend to send his officials there?
