HC Deb 24 July 1935 vol 304 cc1811-2
4. Brigadier-General NATION

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what is the present position with regard to the proposed dam at Lake Tsana?

Sir S. HOARE

I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the reply returned to the hon. Member for Wolverhampton, East (Mr. Mander) on 9th July, to which I have nothing to add at present.

Brigadier-General NATION

May I ask whether it is proposed to invite tenders for the work from British firms?

Sir S. HOARE

I think that I had better have notice of that question, which is rather different from that on the Order Paper.
