HC Deb 18 July 1935 vol 304 cc1228-9
54. Mr. HALES (for Mr. HALLCAINE)

asked the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs whether arrangements will be made for the next Imperial Conference to be held in 1936, at the usual interval of four years from the last conference?

The SECRETARY of STATE for DOMINION AFFAIRS (Mr. J. H. Thomas)

As my hon. Friend is aware, the question of the most suitable time for an Imperial Conference is a matter for discussion and arrangement between all the Governments concerned. No definite arrangement has yet been made as regards the date of the next Imperial Conference.
