asked the Minister of Health whether he will appoint some medical expert from South Wales or Monmouthshire who has had experience of the depressed areas on the advisory committee who are now considering the question of national nutrition?

I have decided, in consultation with my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland, to appoint the senior medical officer of the Welsh Board of Health to be a member of this committee.
