asked the Minister of Labour whether he will state the number of cases referred to the Umpire under the Unemployment Insurance Acts during 1934, the number still awaiting decision, and the number which have been awaiting a decision for more than a month?

The number of cases referred to the Umpire in 1934 was 14,257. The number of cases awaiting decision at 22nd February was 494 of which 50 were more than a month old.
