§ The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY of LABOUR (Mr. R. S. Hudson)The number of cases referred to the Umpire in 1934 was 14,257. The number of cases awaiting decision at 22nd February was 494 of which 50 were more than a month old.
