HC Deb 25 February 1935 vol 298 c761
21. Colonel WEDGWOOD

asked the Minister of Health whether he has been in communication with the Newcastle-under-Lyme Rural District Council concerning the drainage of Audley parish; and, if so, what he proposes to do about it?

Mr. SHAKESPEARE

My right hon. Friend is in communication with the council on this subject. Any proposals which they may submit for the sewering of the parish will be considered.

Colonel WEDGWOOD

Is there a chance of getting any assistance towards the drainage of this derelict area, since the conditions there are very bad indeed?

Mr. SHAKESPEARE

I require notice of that question.
