asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he can make any statement with regard to the proposed trade agreement with Poland?

Mr. RUNCIMAN

I am glad to be able to inform the House that the trade agreement with Poland was initialed last evening. Arrangements are being made for the signature of the agreement at an early date. The terms of the agreement will be published as soon as possible after signature.

Miss WARD

In view of the very satisfactory "British week" which was held in Finland after the trade agreement with Finland was signed, will the right lion. Gentleman consider holding a "British week" in Warsaw to celebrate the signing of the trade agreement with Poland?

I am quite ready to discuss that matter with the representatives of Poland who are still in London.
