HC Deb 19 February 1935 vol 298 cc183-4
49. Commander OLIVER LOCKERLAMPSON

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what precedent there is for the sale through the Royal Mint of medals in connection with the Silver Jubilee in competition with the accredited makers of these goods, who must work for profit and unprotected?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the answer which I gave on the 14th February to the hon. Member for the Moseley Division (Mr. Hannon) of which I am sending him a copy.
