§ 23. Mr. HALL-CAINEasked the Postmaster-General what is the number of licences which have been issued up to the present time for radio sets on motor cars?
§ Sir K. WOODNo record is available of the number of licences issued in respect of wireless sets fitted in motor cars. To ascertain this number it would be necessary to examine the copies kept at Post Offices of nearly 7,000,000 wireless licences; and the cost of such a scrutiny would not, I fear, be justified.
