§ 6. Mr. THORPasked the Secretary of State for India whether he is aware that a confidential circular of the Government of India, Home Department Political, dated 23rd November, 1934, addressed to all local governments and administrations, is in process of being published verbatim in the public Press in India; whether he is aware how this circular came to be disclosed; and whether he proposes to take any and, if so, what steps to prevent the publication of the 3 rest of the circular and any recurrence of similar disclosures in the future?
