§ The MINISTER of TRANSPORT (Mr. Hore-Belisha)The comments of various representative bodies upon the draft regulations which were circulated earlier in the year are now before me, and I will announce the course which I intend to pursue as soon as they have been considered.
§ Mr. DAYCan the Minister say whether any very considerable number of accidents were caused during last year by these glaring headlights?
§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAI could not say that, but I have given the hon. Member an answer to his question.
§ Mr. THORNEDoes the right hon. Gentleman think there is any need at all for extraordinarily powerful headlights?
