HC Deb 12 December 1935 vol 307 cc1077-8
8. Mr. STOREY

asked the Minister of Labour the number of the unemployed registered at the Sunderland, Pallion, and Southwick-on-Wear Employment Exchanges and the Sunderland Juvenile Employment Bureau on 22nd July, 1935; and how many of them had been unemployed for the following periods: one year but less than two years, two years but less than three years, three years but less than four years, four years but less than five years, and five years and over?

Mr. E. BROWN

As the reply includes a number of figures, I will, if I may, circulate a statement in the OFFICIAL REPORT.

Mr. STOREY

What is the total in these five categories?

Mr. BROWN

My hon. Friend can make the addition.
