Captain HUDSONOn the information at present before them as to the volume of traffic likely to use the tunnel, the Government would not feel justified in approving, for the purpose of a grant 1095 from the Road Fund, the heavy expenditure which the scheme will involve, but my right hon. Friend will, of course, consider any further information which may become available if conditions change.
