§ 72. Sir ROBERT YOUNGasked the Minister of Health what number of local authorities have adopted the Local Government and other Officers' Superannuation Act, 1922; and how many of these are county councils, county borough councils, and other local authorities?
§ Sir K. WOODThe Local Government and Other Officers' Superannuation Act, 1922, had, at 1st December, 1935, been adopted by 52 county councils, 66 county borough councils and 479 other local authorities. In addition, the officers and servants of 457 local authorities have been admitted to participate in the benefits of the Act by means of agreements under Section 5 (3).
