SIMONSince 1st February, 1935, one vacancy has arisen in the Metropolitan Police Force in the rank of chief constable which was filled by the promotion of a superintendent who had served as a constable. Four vacancies have arisen in the rank of superintendent, one of which was filled by the promotion of a chief inspector who had served as a constable.
