HC Deb 30 April 1935 vol 301 c181
2. Mr. GRAHAM WHITE

asked the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs whether he has now received a reply from His Majesty's Government in Canada to his communication with regard to the discriminatory duty charged on Palestine fruit shipped to Canada via the United Kingdom?

The SECRETARY of STATE for DOMINION AFFAIRS (Mr. J. H. Thomas)

The recent Canadian Budget Resolutions extended to re-exports of Palestine oranges from the United Kingdom to Canada the duty free entry accorded to direct shipments from Palestine during the period from January to April of each year.
