§ 28. Mr. McKEAGasked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware that an order under Section 19 of the Road Traffic Act, 1930, varying the hours of motor vehicle drivers, was in operation from 1st April, 1931, to 31st March, 1933, and that a similar order was made in November, 1934, with respect to the drivers of vehicles worked under A and B under the Road and Rail Traffic Act, 1933, but an application for a similar order has been refused in respect of vehicles operated under a C licence; and whether the refusal of the application was due to any change in the working conditions of drivers or to any evidence that the order of 1931 had been detrimental to the public safety?
