HC Deb 17 April 1935 vol 300 c1830
38. Mr. ROBINSON

asked the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs whether he can state the circumstances in which advertising matter descriptive of United Kingdom manufactures is admitted free into Australia, New Zealand, the Union of South Africa, and the Irish Free State?

The SECRETARY of STATE for DOMINION AFFAIRS (Mr. J. H. Thomas)

As the answer to this question is somewhat long I will, with my hon. Friend's permission, circulate it in the OFFICIAL REPORT.

Following is the answer:

Union of South Africa.—Price lists, etc., of firms having no established place of business in the Union, and no permanent agent holding stocks there.
