HC Deb 09 April 1935 vol 300 cc963-4
20. Mr. CONANT

asked the Secretary for Mines whether he has yet considered the report of the Committee on Over-winding Prevention; and what action he proposes to take?

21. Mr. TINKER

asked the Secretary for Mines whether he has considered the report of the Overwinding Prevention Committee; and can he say what action he proposes to take with regard to it?

Mr. E. BROWN

It is not quite a fortnight since the report was published, and a reasonable opportunity must be allowed for it to be studied by the parties concerned before I discuss with them what action shall be taken.

Mr. TINKER

Will the hon. Gentleman be able to make a statement when he presents his Estimates to the House?

Mr. BROWN

I am not sure about that. If the hon. Member is very much interested, I will let him know when I am in a position to make a statement.
