HC Deb 09 April 1935 vol 300 c968
33. Mr. EVERARD

asked the Minister of Labour whether any decision has yet been reached on the question of unemployment insurance for agricultural workers?

The MINISTER of LABOUR (Mr. Oliver Stanley)

No, Sir.

Mr. T. SMITH

Can the right hon. Gentleman give an assurance that the Bill will be brought in this Session, and does he appreciate the position of the agricultural workers who are out of employment and now have to go to the Public Assistance Authority?

Mr. STANLEY

I quite realise the position.
