HC Deb 03 April 1935 vol 300 cc336-7
4. Mr. MANDER

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he can give an assurance that no decisions will be made at the Stresa Conference which will prevent the full and free discussion of the existing political situation in the world at the forthcoming council meeting of the League of Nations?

Sir J. SIMON

Nothing which passes at Stresa will prevent full and free discussion of any subjects which the League Council will be called upon to examine at their forthcoming meeting.
