Mr. STANLEYSo far as I am aware the international labour convention concerning fee-charging employment agencies has not yet been ratified by any country. The reasons why it has not been ratified by His Majesty's Government are set out in a recent White Paper (Cmd. 4846) of which I am sending the hon. Member a copy.
§ Mr. THORNEHas not the right hon. Gentleman sufficient evidence in his office to prove the very unfair way in which these fee agencies are dealing with people who apply for work?
