asked the Prime Minister whether he has any statement to make with regard to the World Economic Conference?

The PRIME MINISTER

There is nothing which I can usefully add to the reply on this subject which I gave on 27th March last to the hon. Member for Gower, except to say that the further discussions referred to in that reply are proceeding under the auspices of the Economic Committee of the League of Nations, though present conditions in certain countries rather forbid early results.
