HC Deb 27 November 1934 vol 295 c660
30. Miss WARD

asked the Secretary for Mines whether he can give the House any information as to the outcome of the British coalowners' delegation to Poland?

The SECRETARY for MINES (Mr. Ernest Brown)

I am happy to be able to say that during the discussions recently held in Warsaw very great progress was made towards the conclusion of an agreement between the British and Polish coalowners. The British coal-owners have now invited the Polish representatives to come to London next Monday, when the discussions will be resumed.
