§ 60. Mr. MANDER
asked the Minister of Health whether he will state the 1768 present position with regard to the steps that are being taken in connection with the pollution of the River Tame in its passage through Willenhall?
§ Mr. SHAKESPEARE
The sources of pollution have been difficult to trace, but I am informed that it appears to arise from old culverts and impregnated subsoil. Active steps are being taken to abate the pollution, but from its nature complete abatement will take some time.
