HC Deb 08 November 1934 vol 293 c1251
18. Miss CAZALET

asked the Minister of Health the number of houses erected by the London County Council during the last six months and during each of the two preceding periods of six months?

The MINISTER of HEALTH (Sir Hilton Young)

I am informed that the number of houses provided by the London County Council during the half-year ending 30th September, 1934, was 1,101, during the half-year ending 31st March, 1934, 1,614, and during the half-year ending 30th September, 1933, 1,577.

Miss CAZALET

Does the Minister know of any special reason why there has been so large a decline since the Labour party took office there?
