§
Motion made, and Question proposed,
That the Proceedings on Government Business be exempted, at this day's Sitting, from the provisions of the Standing Order (Sittings of the House)."—[The Prime Minister.]
§ Sir W. DAVISONWill the Prime Minister say how far it is intended to go to-night, and is he aware that the Eleven o'Clock Rule has been suspended every night since the House resumed?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI cannot at present say how far, but later on, when progress has been made, I am sure the usual channels will be only too glad to come to an arrangement.
§ Sir W. DAVISONWill the right hon. Gentleman at any rate say that Part II of the Bill will not be taken after 11 o'clock as it is a matter of such great public interest?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI am afraid I cannot make any more definite statement than I have made. It will depend on the progress made.
§ Question put.
