§ 4. Sir A. KNOXasked the Secretary of State for India whether he is satisfied that the regulations for guarding explosives in India are sufficiently stringent?
§ Sir S. HOAREI know no reason to doubt the sufficiency of the regulations.
§ Sir A. KNOXWill the right hon. Gentleman take into consideration the report of the police administration in Calcutta for 1933 which shows that the police, in searches, came on large quantities of dynamite which had evidently been stolen from Government stores?
§ Sir S. HOAREI think the position is as secure as it can be made, so far as Government stores are concerned, but, if my hon. and gallant Friend has any specific information which he would like me to investigate, I am perfectly ready to do so.
