§ Mr. RAMSBOTHAMA circular has been issued by the Board of Education to local education authorities and school governing bodies, informing them that His Majesty The King has expressed to the President of the Board of Education his desire that a whole holiday may be granted in all schools on the 29th November, the wedding day of His Royal Highness the Duke of Kent. My Noble Friend has expressed his confidence that effect will be given to His Majesty's gracious wishes by the authorities of all schools in England and Wales.
