HC Deb 31 May 1934 vol 290 cc348-9
31. Sir ARTHUR MICHAEL SAMUEL

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether it is contemplated to make a survey of levels of Jersey; whether the Jersey authorities have requested that the survey should be made and for what purpose; and upon whom will the total cost fall?

Mr. ELLIOT

The Ordnance Survey has an old system of levels in Jersey. At the request of the Jersey authorities this system has been amplified. The cost, which is very small, is falling on the Jersey authorities.
