HC Deb 15 May 1934 vol 289 c1599
11. Miss WARD

asked the Secretary for Mines whether his attention has been directed to the projected visit of British coalowners to Warsaw; and if he can give the House any information as to the purposes of the delegation?

Mr. E. BROWN

The projected visit of British coalowners to Warsaw will be for the purpose of continuing discussions with representatives of the Polish coal industry, which took place in London a month ago, when the possibility of reaching a trade agreement on coal prices and supplies was examined. The Government are watching these discussions with great interest.
