HC Deb 15 May 1934 vol 289 c1625
65. Mr. MANDER

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what representations have been made by the French Government with regard to the supply of British aero-engines to Germany likely to be used in the manufacture of forbidden armaments; and what action has been taken in the matter?

The SECRETARY of STATE for FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Sir John Simon)

I would refer the hon. Member to the answer I returned yesterday to the question asked by the hon. Member for Brox-towe (Mr. Cocks).

Mr. MANDER

Is the right hon. Gentleman satisfied that these aero-engines will not be used for military purposes?
