HC Deb 14 May 1934 vol 289 cc1461-2
62. Commander OLIVER LOCKER-LA MPSON

asked the Home Secretary whether he will take steps to stop the sale in England of the Ritual Murder number of Herr Julius Streicher's "Stuermer," which alleges ritual murder on the part of the Jews and is calculated to cause a disturbance of the peace if sold and distributed in this country?

Mr. HACKING

My right hon. Friend has caused inquiries to be made and understands that the issues of the publication referred to are not on sale in this country. Should they be put on sale here, my right hon. Friend will be prepared to consider whether any action is necessary or desirable in the public interest.
