HC Deb 09 May 1934 vol 289 c1078

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department the number of cases in England and Wales during the past year in which fines not exceeding ten guineas have been imposed upon persons convicted of dangerous driving, and the number of cases in which the fine exceeded that sum?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for the HOME DEPARTMENT (Mr. Douglas Hacking)

I regret that this information is not available, since the returns do not show the amount of individual fines, but only the number of cases in which conviction was followed by a fine, and the total amount of all the fines imposed for the particular class of offence.
