asked the Minister of Transport if he can make any statement upon the proposal to construct a by-pass road by Shere and Albury, in the county of Surrey?

Mr. STANLEY

Provision for such a by-pass is made in the preliminary statement of a town planning scheme which has been approved by the Minister of Health, but I have no information as to when its construction is likely to be undertaken.
