HC Deb 22 March 1934 vol 287 c1363
1. Lieut.-Colonel Sir ARNOLD WILSON

asked the Minister of Labour whether the Industrial Transference Board is still in existence; if so, on what date it last met; and whether a further report from them will be presented to Parliament?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY of LABOUR (Mr. R. S. Hudson)

The Industrial Transference Board completed its work when it made its report of 26th June, 1928, which was presented to Parliament as Command Paper 3156 and on which the transfer policy of successive Governments has since been based. In this connection I would refer my (hon. and gallant Friend to the reply given to the hon. Member for Consett (Mr. Dickie) on 7th March, of which I am sending him a copy.
