HC Deb 22 March 1934 vol 287 cc1390-1
Mr. ATTLEE

May I ask the Prime Minister for the business for next week?

The PRIME MINISTER (Mr. Ramsay MacDonald)

The business for next week will be as follows:

Monday: Unemployment Bill, Committee, 11th allotted day.

Tuesday: Second Reading of the Poor Law (Scotland) Bill, and of the Land Settlement (Scotland) Bill; Motion to approve the Milk Marketing Scheme for Aberdeen and district; Second Reading of the Army and Air Force (Annual) Bill.

Wednesday: Second Reading of the Coal Mines Bill.

Thursday: Motion for the Easter Adjournment until Monday, 9th April. It is proposed that the House will meet at eleven in the forenoon.

On any day, if there is time, other Orders may be taken.

Major Sir ARCHIBALD SINCLAIR

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that the Land Settlement (Scotland) Bill is not yet circulated, and we are asked to discuss it on Tuesday?

The PRIME MINISTER

It will be circulated in plenty of time.

Sir A. SINCLAIR

Cannot it be circulated to-day?

The PRIME MINISTER

I would remind the House that the Financial Resolution has been discussed and it generally covers the Bill.
