HC Deb 22 March 1934 vol 287 c1384
45. Mr. MANDER

asked the Attorney-General what action the Government proposes to take on the second interim report of the Business of Courts Committee?

The SOLICITOR-GENERAL (Sir Donald Somervell)

I am unable to add anything to the answers which my right hon. and learned Friend gave to my hon. Friend the Member for Reigate (Mr. Touche) on 29th January, and to my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Blackpool (Captain Erskine-Bolst) on 5th February last.

Mr. MANDER

Can the hon. and learned Gentleman say how soon a decision will be reached?

The SOLICITOR-GENERAL

No, I can only assure the hon. Gentleman that these proposals are receiving the active consideration of my Noble Friend, but I am not in a position to say when a decision will be made.
