HC Deb 21 March 1934 vol 287 c1207
35. Lord SCONE

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is prepared to receive in Edinburgh a deputation from the East of Scotland milk producers, to discuss the losses now being caused to those producers by the operation of the Scottish milk marketing scheme?

Sir G. COLLINS

I understand that the East of Scotland milk producers desire to elaborate by a deputation a memorial requesting that certain complaints should be sent to the Committee of Investigation. I have asked the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State to receive such a deputation on my behalf in Edinburgh next week.

Lord SCONE

May I express my thanks to my right hon. Friend?
