asked the Secretary of State for India if he has any information as to the recent outbreak in the Rangoon Gaol, Burma?

There has been no outbreak in the Rangoon Gaol, but on the evening of the 2nd March a fire destroyed three old workshops entirely and partly destroyed another. The cause of the fire, which was brought under control in a very short time, is not known definitely, but incendiarism is not suspected. There was no loss of life or injury to anyone.
